Swap Meet & Tech Day

It's a Swap Meet & Tech Day Double Feature! June, 1, 2024 from 10am-1pm.

Got some Airhead parts, tools, riding gear, etc taking up space? Sell it for cash or trade it for stuff you need (or want)! I'll have a tent setup, and hopefully some tables and blankets to lay things out on.

Just want to set your valves, balance your carbs, or change your fluids? I'll have my garage clear and tools available to do this work. Want to do something more ambitious? Let's chat.

This is hosted at my personal residence in Arvada, CO. So I will not be posting the address publicly. Just fill out the RSVP form below. I'll send the exact address to the email your provide in a few weeks. Thanks!

How do I get a Sticker?

Great question! At the moment, the only way to get a sticker is to:

  1. Follow us on Instagram.
  2. Direct message us.
  3. Share your Airhead with us, and let us post it on #followerFriday
  4. Wait a few weeks for your FREE stickers (yes, multiple) to arrive in the mail.

What is Direct to Garment (DTG) printing?

Airhead Misfits uses a DTG printing service to print and fulfill the majority of our garments. So what is it?

Direct to garment (DTG) printing is a digital printing technology that allows full-color designs to be printed directly onto garments such as t-shirts, hoodies, and hats. It is similar to an inkjet printer that prints onto paper, but instead of paper, the printer is used to print onto fabric.

DTG printers work by spraying ink directly onto the garment using specialized water-based inks. The ink is absorbed by the fibers of the fabric, creating a high-quality print that is both durable and long-lasting. The printer can print intricate designs, photographs, and even text with high levels of detail and accuracy.

DTG printing is often used for custom t-shirt printing and other personalized apparel items because it allows for unique, one-of-a-kind designs to be printed quickly and easily. It's also a more eco-friendly printing option since it doesn't require the use of screens, chemicals, or excessive amounts of water.

Why do you use DTG printing?

Airhead Misfits is primarily a passion project run by a single person, and DTG printing has allowed us to expand our offerings without the need for managing and storing a large inventory. It's what makes it all possible. With DTG printing, we can offer a wide range of products that are made to order, eliminating the need for storing excess stock. Trust me, you don't want to purchase t-shirts that have been stored in my garage next to the motor oil and solvent.

How should I care for my DTG stuff?

WASHING:

  • Turn shirt inside out.
  • Use cold water & wash with similar colors (weird right? people own shirts in colors besides black!).
  • Wash on gentle setting.

DRYING:

  • Tumble dry on low or hang dry.

IRONING:

  • We don't recommend ironing, but if you just NEED that t-shirt to be crispy AF, make sure to turn the garment inside out.

DO NOT:

  • Do not use bleach.
  • Do not feed a Mogwai after midnight.

I have a problem with my order, now what?

Feel free to read over the Shipping and Privacy policies linked below under "Legal Junk". That said, get in touch. Reading legalese sucks, but we gotta have it. In the end, we want you to be happy, and would rather chat with you about how to make that happen.

Yo, can you make an Airhead Misfits *insert product*?

While we can't do one off or a la carte requests, we're always open to ideas/suggestions. Just get in touch, and let us know what you're thinking. Odds are, someone else wants one too.
